Keep your old or buying a new one really up to you, but I would not say it's necessary.
Mold can be very fast in the right environment. You may have had a stroke and not the door a few days. Crude as it may seem, it's really not so bad in the microwave. Try it out good cleaning before reuse. Try to water in it boil for a few minutes, or a damp paper towel square in the middle for a few seconds.
